Reorientation
How do we orient ourselves?
Through memory? Landscape? The body? Repetition?
Through the process of drawing, I build imagined spaces. In doing so, I also locate myself through acts of layering, waiting and reconstruction. Light, geometry and reflection become modes of discovery, offering structures through which to navigate and make sense of experience.
Reorientation I dwells in the moment before arrival, rather than offering a destination. It suggests that finding our way is less about reaching a place than recognising ourselves within it.
